ITER call for nominations.

The European Union have been invited by the ITER IO to nominate companies who can provide support in the "NB cell and HV lines design contract".
Please find enclosed a brief description of the work to be performed.

The potential firms should have a recognized level of expertise, competence and references in the supply of such mentioned services and include in their presentation the appropriate contact information (i.e. company name, address, contact person, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address and web address).

ITER construction schedule

Detailed plans exist for the construction of ITER, which indicate that, if the ITER Organisation is established in 2006, the first plasma should be possible in ITER by the end of 2016. Here the construction schedule can be found (at ITER webpage). Read more >>

ITER Management

In the first months of 2006, the top management team of ITER has been named. The Director-General of the project will be Kaname Ikeda (Japanese), the Project Construction Leader will be Dr. Norbert Holtkamp (German).
