Students at JET

You seek to gain experience at Europe’s largest fusion device in operation, the Joint European Torus (JET)?
EFDA itsself do not run schemes for internships, apprenticeships or work experiences. However those schemes might be possible for you under the patronage of the Culham Centre of Fusion Energy, CCFE for short, CCFE hosts JET on behalf of its European partners. The JET facilities are operated for scientists from around Europe, who work together co-ordinated by the EFDA.

CCFE run professionally accredited training schemes for graduate engineers and apprentices. Follow the link to read more about PhD and MSc opportunities, Fusion research fellowships, Graduate recruitment, Apprenticeships, IET Power Academy, Student engineering placements and Work experience.
